Maven supports automatic download and installation of plugins, thanks to it's
plugin
plugin (eh?). Try something like the following:
maven plugin:download \ -Dmaven.repo.remote=http://roscopeco.co.uk/maven \ -DgroupId=jamecs \ -DartifactId=maven-janno-plugin \ -Dversion=0.10
The plug-in is available as a source release only, since the
easiest way to install plugins in Maven is to build and install them with
the plugin
plugin as described above, and in any event there
is nothing to compile a binary from.
You can download such releases from the File Release area at our SourceForge
site (
http://sourceforge.net/projects/jamecs).
Snapshots are available from the Maven repository, along with the installable plugin
(see above). Developers (and anyone else with access to CVS
binary) can
also check out the source for any particular release, or the latest
development version, directly from the CVS repository.
